Appellate Advocacy

Our appellate practice section strives to ensure that each client’s right to a fair trial is protected, and that our clients’ interests are aggressively promoted through all stages of the case. Our appellate attorneys routinely represent governmental entities and officials in interlocutory appeals in federal and state court. We also frequently represent amici curiae in appeals involving issues of significant importance.  Our appellate attorneys are usually involved at trial in order to maximize the success of any appeal. If another firm handled the trial, we work with the original attorneys to identify appealable issues, write the briefs, and argue the appeal.
